“A HAPPY CHANCE” along with a healthy dose of fate would be a great way to describe Jan’s entry into the Real Estate Profession. Born and raised in Utah, she holds a Masters Degree in Nursing, and is a graduate of the University of Utah. Jan practiced for 20 years as a Registered Nurse, working in Hospitals in Salt Lake City and Ogden and as a Home Health Care Nurse. She first co-owned her own local Home Care and Hospice business in the 1990’s. Loving the close work with her varied staff and patients but needing a change she then helped her husband of 18 years to develop a highly successful and local Freight Audit Business in Sandy, Utah.
Continuing her search for her “dream” business opportunity, she gained her first valuable experiences in real estate by purchasing several homes across the Wasatch Front and buying and co-managing 3 rental properties in Utah, California and Hawaii. I have now been a Real Estate Agent for 6 years and though we have all experienced tough economic times, “I love this industry and feel owning and investing in real estate is a privilege. I feel the best Agents will tough it out through the lean years because of their passion to help clients find the properties they have dreamed about. I couldn’t find a more worth-while way to make a living!”
